It has been announced that Bei's manga "Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana," which is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site "Champion Cross," will be made into a TV anime. The story is about the coming-of-age of female university students who bond over alcohol, and will be directed by Takashi Sakuma and produced by Soine.
The story depicts the daily life of 20-year-old female university student Botan Kamiina, who shares her dorm with her seniors through alcohol. Many real alcoholic beverages, including sake, whiskey, and wine, are featured in the story.
Original author Bei commented, "I am happy to be able to announce that Kamiina Botan will be made into a TV animation series. I can finally share with everyone the excitement I felt when I first saw that wonderful concept movie. In producing the series, we have been on the same page and have had many discussions. Everyone involved has respect for the original work, and has put their creativity and skills to the test. I am very happy to have been able to work with them.
