Regarding the treatment of Mikami (Matsuzaka), his subordinate Makino (Masaki Okada) protested, "Isn't this too rough? Go back to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, or I'll change your homeroom teacher." Tsukada smiled and confirmed, "Makino-kun, is there something that will cause problems if Mikami-kun returns?"
When Makino pointed out, "No, there is no such thing. However, it is how it looks both internally and externally," Tsukada asked in a low voice, "What are you trying to say?" Makino stated his opinion, "If we go back to such an awkward time, it would be like walking around saying that the first dispatch of bureaucrats to private high schools was a failure."
Tsukada revealed that if he were to return to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, it would have to be accompanied by an unprecedented promotion, and Makino, unable to hide his surprise, said, "Huh?" Seeing Makino's expression, Tsukada coldly retorted, "Huh? Maybe that was the problem?" He then advised, "Well, I can understand how you feel. If Mikami-kun were to be promoted here, he would become the head of the department. That would mean he would be the most successful of all of your peers. But, you know, it's more important that the whole thing goes well. You're not the kind of person who wouldn't understand that, Makino-kun."
Tsukada continued, "Well, once he returns to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, he's a man who is quite useful. I think Makino-kun knows that better than anyone. Come on, Makino-kun, this is no time to be worrying about other people."
After Makino left the room, Tsukada immediately called Kodai (Kazuki Kitamura), the president of Rintoku Academy. Regarding their future plans, they were shown discussing, "Well, if we can't get the government on board, then it's Makino. And then what to do about Nakaoka (Yasufumi Hayashi). It's going to be troublesome either way, men who know too much."
On social media, comments included, "Mitchy's scary," "I like bad Mitchy lol," "Tsukada Mitchy is also amazing in episode 8! His acting where his eyes aren't smiling at all is electrifying," "Mitchy's acting is great. He's smiling, but his cheeks are twitching. You can tell he's saying, 'Don't say any more unnecessary things,'" and "Is Mitchy the only one so far who is undoubtedly a bad guy?" and "I'm absolutely sure that's not the case, but I secretly hope that Yamato Takeru is Mitchy."
