It was revealed on August 11th that actress Yui Narumi , who also gained attention for her role as Oda Kotoko in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan ," will appear in the TV Tokyo drama series "Synanthrope" (Mondays at 11:06pm), which will begin airing on October 6th. She will play Murota Kanna, an eccentric, mentally unstable girl who works at the burger shop "Synanthrope," where the drama is set. A visual of the character, who has blue-green hair, has also been released.
The drama stars Koshi Mizukami, and also stars Anna Yamada, Ryota Bando , Ayumu Mochizuki, Mochizuki Ayumu, Hagiwara Mamoru, and Takahashi Kan. Based on an original story by Konomoto Kazuya, the screenwriter of the anime series "Odd Taxi," the story is set in a small burger shop called "Synanthrope," and tells the story of eight young men and women who encounter a complex web of human relationships, where one mystery unfolds before another.
Narumi commented, "I personally love youth ensemble dramas, but I haven't had the chance to do so until now, so I'm very happy to be able to participate in this way. The story is constructed intricately like a puzzle, and is full of humor and a unique tempo that is fascinating and keeps me excited! I'll do my best to deliver a one-of-a-kind work.
