It has been announced that the latest TV anime series in the popular Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX (Geku Axe), will be broadcast on 30 Nippon Television affiliates every Tuesday at 12:29am starting April 8th. Ahead of the TV anime series, a pre-release movie version of the film, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, which reconstructs some episodes, began screening on January 17th and has been a huge hit, grossing over 3 billion yen. According to Bandai Spirits, Gunpla (plastic models) based on the series are also doing well. We will explain the upcoming Gunpla that is attracting attention.
◇Red Gundam with two bits
On the day of the early release of the movie, the Gunpla model of the main character's GQuuuuuuX, "HG 1/144 GQuuuuuuX," was released, but there are still more new products to come. In April, when the TV anime series starts, the "HG 1/144 Military and Police Zaku" will be released. It will have a different shape to previous Zaku models, such as the legs, and the shield will have the word "Police" markings.
The red Gundam Gunpla "HG 1/144 Red Gundam" will be released in May. It comes with two bits and can be attached to the machine with joint parts. It is likely to be a popular product, as it is an MS (Mobile Suit) that was a hot topic in the early theater version.
It has also been announced that the light cannon Gunpla model "HG 1/144 Light Cannon" will be released in July.

At the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -FINAL-" event held in February at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), it was announced that a Gunpla model of the White Gundam, Zaku (GQ) (tentative name), would be released from the "HG" series, and was exhibited as a reference. The release date and other details will be announced in the future.
It was also announced that "New Product A (tentative)" will be released in May, "New Product B (tentative)" in June, "New Product C (tentative)" in July, "New Product D (tentative)" in August, and "New Product E (tentative)" in September. It is unclear whether the white Gundam and Zaku (GQ) (tentative) are included in these five products, but there is no doubt that there are still more new products in the wings.
