The 110th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto was broadcast on March 7th. The words of Hana (Risa Hayato Sano Sano) "dream notebook" were deeply moving to the viewers.
In the currently airing 22nd week, Hana was selected to represent Osaka in girls' soccer under 10 years old. Shoya, who once aspired to be a professional baseball player, was seen giving Hana strict instructions, pointing out, "You've only just made the team, don't get carried away."
In episode 110, Hana asks Shoya to accompany her in practicing tomorrow since it's her day off. Shoya responds, "Hana, take a break. You're a little overworked," to which Hana expresses her impatience, saying, "The other girls are practicing while you're resting. If you do that, you'll be dropped from the national team."
Seeing Hana's state, Yui said, "Let's talk for a bit," and the three of them talked together. Yui apologized to Hana, saying, "I'm really sorry for saying things that made it seem like you wanted to do what you wanted without trying to understand how you wanted to make your father happy." Shoya also said, "I forced my father's feelings on Hana. I'm really sorry. From now on, I won't be so strict with you."
Hana then says, "You two don't understand at all," and comes back from her room with a notebook. The notebook is a "dream notebook" that Shoya created when he was still active. Shoya sent all of his baseball equipment to his hometown in Tochigi, but he kept this notebook.
Hana honestly revealed her thoughts, saying, "There were a lot of difficult characters so I couldn't read some parts, but it showed me how hard my dad worked at playing baseball. That's why I want to continue fulfilling my dad's dream from now on. I don't know how far I can go, but I want to get better at soccer and really go to the Olympics and become a professional."
Then, she smiled and said to Shoya, "Please continue to practice with me. No matter how tough it is, Hana will grow up," and asked Yui, "Please make lots of nutritious meals so that Hana's body will become stronger." Yui suggested, "Why don't you write this down, Hana?", and Hana wrote down her dreams and goals for the future in her notebook, just like Shoya did in the past.
On social media, people were saying things like, "I burst into tears. Hana is such a good girl," "I was moved by Hana's words," "What a wonderful family," "This will likely motivate Hana to pursue her dream," and "I'm glad the three of them were able to unite in their desire to continue their father's dream and become professionals."
