WOWOW will broadcast and stream the UEFA Champions League (CL), the soccer tournament that determines the number one club in Europe, from the league phase to the finals in the 2025-26 season. The tournament is currently in the playoffs for the final seven spots, and once the second leg on August 27th and 28th is over, all 36 clubs that will compete in the league phase, the main competition, will be decided.
The draw for the league phase will be held in Monaco the following day, and will be streamed live on the official WOWOW Soccer YouTube channel and WOWOW On Demand from 12:30 AM on August 29th. SOTA and JUNON from the seven-member dance and vocal group BE:FIRST have been confirmed to appear as special guests.
As "UEFA Champions League 2024-25 FINAL WOWOW Special Supporters," the two attended last season's final, "Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter," held in Munich, Germany, and shared their excitement and enthusiasm on social media. During the "League Phase Draw," they will provide live commentary with commentators Kazuyuki Toda, Ryohei Hayashi, and host Hiroki Yokouchi, as well as a look ahead to the notable matchups that have been decided and the highlights of this season.

The other day I had the opportunity to watch the Champions League final right in front of me, and I felt the excitement and passion firsthand from the atmosphere at the venue and around the stadium. I am looking forward to being able to watch the tournament from the beginning again, and to feeling the start of this season!

I'm so happy and grateful to be able to be up close and involved in the moments I always look forward to and get excited about from afar. I watched the final live the other day and was convinced that the Champions League has a passion that no other league can match, so I think the charm of soccer will spread to even more people this year!!
