To commemorate the exclusive broadcast and distribution of the crime suspense drama "Hikari・Kouen" (30 episodes in total), which is a film adaptation of the masterpiece "Silent Reading" by the popular Chinese novelist priest, on WOWOW, a special exhibition of the main visuals and stills from the first eight episodes of the series will be held in the area near the elevator hall on the third floor of the old main store side of Animate Ikebukuro Main Store (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) from February 28th. A teaser video for the series will also be screened in the same space.
The exhibition will run from February 28 to March 13. Animate Ikebukuro main store is open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on weekdays, and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekends and holidays.
"Hikari・Fuchi" is said to be a "phantom Chinese bromance" and is set in a world where "zero-degree empaths," those who cannot share the feelings of others, make up 1.3% of the human population. A veteran detective and the young president of a huge group, who have a history of feuding and have a bitter relationship, attempt to solve a murder case despite their differences.
Singer and actor Hu Xinbo plays the unconventional, hot-blooded, and skilled detective Luo Weizhao. Actor Zhang Xingcheng plays the calm, collected, and brilliantly intellectual young president of a huge group, Pei Shu. The series was produced by Yang Xia, who produced the hit TV series "The Untamed."
Additionally, WOWOW released stills from episodes 9 onwards.
"Hikari・Achi" consists of 30 episodes. Episodes 1 and 2 will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand at midnight on March 7th. From then on, two episodes will be broadcast and streamed every Friday at midnight up to episode 10. Archives can also be viewed on WOWOW On Demand.
