The first line-up of guests for the 2nd Domannaka Anime Film Festival, a film festival focusing on 1980s anime, has been announced, revealing that Yuyama Kunihiko, director of Magical Princess Minky Momo: Rondo of Dreams, Takachiho Haruka, the original author of the 4K remaster of the theatrical version of Crusher Joe, and Yasuhiko Yoshikazu, director, will be in attendance.
Also appearing on stage will be Susumu Aketagawa, who served as sound director for "Legend of the Galactic Heroes : My Conquest of the Ocean of Stars 4K Remaster" and "Legend of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes : Overture to a New Battle 4K Remaster," director Keizo Shimizu of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Overture to a New Battle 4K Remaster," producer Masuro Ueda, who worked on "Five Star Stories," and producer Masao Maruyama, who worked on "Kamui no Ken" and "The Manga Film 'Nezumi Kozo Jirokichi' Dedicated to Yamanaka Sadao." Information on the second round of guests will be announced on March 5th.
The film festival will be held from May 16th to 22nd at Midland Square Cinema (Nakamura-ku, Nagoya).
