As part of the regular job rotation, where employees are transferred to different departments and duties, Uesugi (Sakai Taisei) comes to work at the Command Section.
One day, Uesugi receives a call that the company president has been stabbed in the chest. His instructor, Minowa (Maehara Ko), tells him to "first ensure the safety of the caller," but Uesugi asks one question after another: "Do you know if the person is conscious? Do you know the address? Even the name of the company will do."
It was suspected that the caller was unable to speak for some reason, but Uesugi was anxious, saying, "Why don't they know? We need to get an ambulance there quickly!" Dojima arrived and said, "I'll take care of the rest," and decided to handle the situation in Uesugi's place.
Dojima calmly explained, "This is a phone call. I would like to ask you a few things, so please answer the questions with just 'yes' or 'no'. If that's difficult for you to say, 'yeah' or 'no' is fine too."
When asked, "Is the person who stabbed the president still there?" the caller replied, "Yes..." Dojima identified the location by asking questions that could be answered with "yes" or "no," and dispatched a police car and an ambulance.
The incident was later reported on breaking news, and it was revealed that the man believed to be the culprit had been arrested red-handed.
At the end of the episode, Dojima is shown coughing and vomiting blood, which caused a lot of buzz on social media, with comments such as "Legend, he vomited blood, is he OK?!", "I'm worried about Dojima", "It's an incredible drama how just audio communication can make you feel so tense", and " The 119 Emergency Call was great. It's really worth watching every episode."
