The fourth episode of the TV drama "Secret ~THE TOP SECRET~" (Kantele/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10pm), starring actor Rihito Itagaki and Yuto Nakajima from the popular group Hey! Say! JUMP , will be broadcast on February 17th.
The drama is based on Shimizu Reiko's "Secret - Top Secret" published in the manga magazine "Melody" (Hakusensha) and its spin-off work "Secret Season 0". The script is written by Sato Tsumako, who has worked on the "Unfair" series (same network) and the movie "Onmyoji 0" (2024). The story is set in the Forensic Science Laboratory No. 9, commonly known as "No. 9". Itagaki plays Maki Tsuyoshi, head of the No. 9 laboratory, while Nakajima plays Suzuki Katsuhiro, a former member of No. 9 who lost his life in an incident, and Aoki Ikko, a rookie investigator who looks just like Suzuki and is later assigned to No. 9.
In the third episode, three years after the death of investigator Katsuhiro Suzuki (played by Nakajima), a rookie investigator who looks just like Suzuki, Kazuyuki Aoki (played by Nakajima in a dual role), is assigned to the 9th Division and appears before the division chief, Tsuyoshi Maki (played by Itagaki). In a case where nine boys commit suicide one after another, the life of the tenth boy is saved by the buddy team of Maki and Aoki.
From episode 4, Ritsuko Sugai (Yui Narumi), assistant to anatomist Yukiko Miyoshi (Mugi Kadowaki), also known as Suga-chan, appears. Ritsuko is a unique character who, although a junior, speaks her mind without hesitation and is the only one who can criticize Yukiko.
In the fourth episode, a series of murders occur along a private railway line, and an MRI scan reveals that the victims were passengers who had been in the same car on the same day. Maki and Aoki find a common thread: the victims' bodies have "something strange" going on, but Yukiko, who is in charge of the autopsy, also experiences the same thing... and so the story unfolds.
Episode 4 focuses on Yukiko, who shows her pride and determination as an anatomist. Aoki desperately tries to save her and makes a "certain proposal" to her... The relationship between Aoki and Yukiko gradually closes, so keep an eye on it.
