It has been announced that the manga "The Fainting Hero and the Assassin Princess," currently being serialized in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), will be adapted into an anime and broadcast as a TV anime in 2025. The main cast has also been announced, with Takeuchi Shunsuke playing the hero Toto. It has also been announced that the voice actors for the three beautiful women who become Toto's companions will be Saeki Iori as Ciel, Ueda Hitomi as Anemone, and Shiraishi Haruka as Goa.
The work is a manga written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukida Kouji. Although he is talented, the hero Toto is extremely shy and unable to form a party, so he is languishing in the town of origins. He is suddenly invited to join a party by three beautiful women, Ciel, Anemone, and Goa, but they are fully prepared to kill Toto... This is the story of a romantic comedy about a shy hero and three people who are trying to kill him for their own purposes.
The anime will be directed by Noriaki Akitaya, with series composition by Michiko Yokote, character design by Takao Sano, and music by Jun Narita. It will be produced by CONNECT.
Two teaser visuals have been released, depicting the hero Toto, Ciel, Anemone, and Goa. Each visual shows the three beautiful women trying to take Toto's life if they get the chance, and their shrewd hidden expressions. A promotional video that gives a glimpse of the three characters' true faces has also been released on YouTube.
