It has been revealed that the second movie version of " That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Ken)", an anime based on a popular light novel on the novel posting site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ", will be released in February 2026. The title of the second movie version will be " That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime The Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea", and a teaser visual featuring Rimuru Tempest has also been released.
"TenSura" is a light novel by Fuse, who is popular on "Shosetsuka ni Naro". It depicts a modern-day office worker who is reincarnated in another world and is active there. The comic book adaptation by Taiki Kawakami is being serialized in "Monthly Shonen Sirius" (Kodansha).
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2018 to March 2019, the first part of the second season from January to March 2021, the second part from July to September 2021, and the third season from April to September 2024. A completely new movie version, " That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Guren no Kizuna Arc," with a story concept by Fuse, was released in November 2022. It has also been announced that a fourth season of the TV anime will be produced.
