The second episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9pm) starring actor Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on January 26th. Yasufumi Hayashi appeared as the mysterious man who appears out of nowhere, Souma Nakaoka, and became a hot topic on social media.

The story is about a Ministry of Education bureaucrat, Mikami (Matsuzaka), who wants to change education in Japan, who is transferred to a private high school, Rintoku Gakuin. Although it is a demotion, Mikami himself takes to the podium and leads 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era, while standing up to authority.
Makino (Masaki Okada), a colleague of the emperor, is introduced to Nakaoka by Tsukada (Mitsuhiro Oikawa), director-general of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Bureau of General Education Policy.
While exchanging business cards, Nakaoka greeted Makino by saying, "When I was young, I was a policy secretary to a certain Diet member. Now I'm the CEO of the consulting company." Makino told him, "I've heard that you have an incredible network of contacts. You're the go-between for Kasumigaseki and Nagatacho, and you're the dark matchmaker." Tsukada responded, "Hehe. I wanted Makino-kun to get along with the dark matchmaker on behalf of Gojo-kun."
Nakaoka began by saying, "While we were not together for a while, many people have been piling up requests for you, Tsukada-san. The biggest one is about Rintoku..." Then Tsukada glanced at Makino and said, "Let's not talk about that here," and stopped talking.
As Hayashi has appeared in Sunday Theatre productions such as "Antihero" and "VIVANT," social media was filled with comments such as "Yasufumi Hayashi! Another Sunday Theatre regular lol," "Yasufumi Hayashi on Sunday Theatre is suspicious," "When Yasufumi Hayashi appears it's like VIVANT," "When Yasufumi Hayashi appeared I was like, "Here he comes!" and "Here he comes, Mr. Yasufumi Hayashi! The screen is so tight!"
In "VIVANT," Hayashi played Batraka, a senior member of "Tent. " Shuto Imai, who played the young Batraka, will appear in "Mikami Sensei" as Daiki Kagawa, a student in class 3-2. The casting tickled the hearts of viewers, with some even saying, "Two Batrakars!"
