It has been revealed that the 30th anniversary concert by musical actor Kaiho Naoto, which will be held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on July 21st, will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in November.
At the age of 7, he made his stage debut as Chip in Shiki Theatre Company's "Beauty and the Beast". He was then selected to play the first Young Simba in "The Lion King". After his time as a child actor, he has been active mainly on stage, playing roles such as Marius in "Les Miserables", Quasimodo in Shiki Theatre Company's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", and Aladdin in "Aladdin". As a singer, he continues to work as the vocalist for the rock band "Cyanotype", and made his major debut as a solo singer in 2019, and is active in music in various styles.
The 30th anniversary concert is titled "Kaiho Naoto x Orchestra "more" in Tokyo 30th Anniversary Concert of Stage Entertainment Activities" and will feature a number of famous songs, mainly musical numbers, sung by an orchestra. Mori Ryohei, who has worked with Kaiho for many years and has served as the conductor and musical director of many major musical productions, will be in charge of arrangement and conducting. Hoshikaze Madoka, an actress who is active mainly in musicals, will also be appearing as a special guest.
