It has been revealed that Super Sentai idol and talent Marupi will play the role of Bouquet, a technical captain and executive of the enemy organization "Bridean" in "No.1 Sentai Gozyuger" (TV Asahi, 9:30 a.m.), which is a 50th anniversary production of the Super Sentai series and will begin airing on February 16th.
Marupi is 25 years old, born on November 5, 1999. She is from Gunma Prefecture. She is a member of the talent agency "Zeroichi Familia", which also represents Nashiko Momotsuki, who played Yodonna in "Mashin Sentai Kiramager" (2020-2021). As a basketball-loving talent, she has served as a reporter for TV Asahi's "Basketball☆FIVE" and also appeared in NHK BS's "Nekketsu Basketball".
At the production press conference held in Tokyo, Marupi said, "I'm the technical captain of Bridan, Bouquet of Compassion. I'll do my best so that everyone will love Bouquet and the series!" She chose "Mahou Sentai Magiranger" (2005-2006) as a memorable Super Sentai and said with a smile, "It's a series that makes you feel the love of family, and I love my family too!"
"No.1 Sentai Gozyuger" is a story about five heroes based on beasts such as animals and dinosaurs, who battle against the "Number One Monster" who has reached the top in all fields, rivals who wield the power of all the previous Reds, and even other Gojugers, in search of the "Sentai Ring," a ring that is said to grant any wish.
