The latest episode of TV Asahi's special program "Tamori Station," which is hosted by Tamori and delves into a variety of topics from sports to disasters, commercial songs, and convenience stores, will be broadcast from 8:54 pm to 10:24 pm on January 25th. The theme of this episode is the rapidly increasing number of "illegal part-time job robberies." We will also interview Rikuto Nagata, the perpetrator of the "illegal part-time job robbery and murder case" that occurred in Komae City, Tokyo in January 2023, and get to the bottom of the reality of the series of violent crimes.
Defendant Nagata says he applied for the illegal part-time job to repay gambling debts. He is also the perpetrator of a robbery and assault that occurred in Hiroshima City in December 2022, assaulting the landlord's son to the point of leaving him with permanent injuries. In the Hiroshima incident, despite being told by his supervisor not to kill him, he says that when the victim resisted, he "swung the monkey wrench he had in his pocket with all his might."
In the case of the Komae City incident, he was the leader of the group that murdered a 90-year-old woman. In an interview, Nagata said he "regrets the crime to the point of death," but also asserted that "illegal part-time robbery will never go away."
The program will explore the recruiters and masterminds who use social media to recruit people for illegal part-time jobs, and analyze the increasingly diverse and complex organizational structures. It will also introduce the latest countermeasures against illegal part-time job robberies, including what to do if your home is broken into.
After finishing the recording, Tamori commented, "I was surprised to find out that the illegal part-time job cases had such a complicated structure. A system in which perpetrators are gathered on social media to carry out robberies was unthinkable 10 years ago, so I truly feel that the world has become a frightening place. " He sounded a warning, saying, "No matter what role you play, once you take part in an illegal part-time job it is a crime. If you take part in an illegal part-time job, your life will be ruined. I want to tell this fact to the younger generation."
Studio guests will include actor Kimura Yoshino, Naoki Prize-winning author Kurokawa Hiroyuki, who realistically portrays the inner workings of criminal groups such as telephone fraud, Sasaki Seizo, a former detective from Saitama Prefectural Police's First Investigative Division and crime prevention advisor, and Kanai Seiichiro, TV Asahi's Metropolitan Police Department cap who continues to cover illegal part-time job cases.
