The first episode of the Monday 9pm drama " 119 Emergency Call " (Fuji TV, Mondays 9pm) starring actress Nana Seino was broadcast on January 13th. The drama is set in a fire department's communications command center and tells an original story about dispatchers who save lives with a single phone call. On social media, the show has drawn comments such as " Nana Seino is so cool" and "I was moved."
Yuki Kasuhara, played by Seino, is a command and control officer in the Yokohama City Fire Department's Command Section 3, who has the special skill of never forgetting a voice or sound once he has heard it. He is the newest member of the Fire Command Center. In the first episode, she told Takachiho (Yuri Nakamura), the section chief of Command Section 3, "I want to become a command and control officer with imagination."
Kasuhara goes to see the accident scene on his day off to see if his response was correct. However, this leads to a complaint call from the fire rescue team chief, who scolds Koji Seto, saying, "No matter how hard we try, there are certainly lives that cannot be saved. The people at the scene see and touch that reality with their own eyes, and know it all too well. What can we, who are just a stopgap, do if we just jump in and imagine what will happen? You can't do anything!"
Meanwhile, a fire breaks out at a shopping mall, the scene of which Kasuhara had visited before. Kasuhara uses his special ability to never forget a voice or sound he has heard once, as well as his imagination, to save the life of a young girl.
On social media, comments such as "Nana Seino is really cool," "Nana Seino is a great actor," "The scene where she receives a call and tries to understand the situation was so thrilling and suspenseful I was drawn in," "The main character played by Nana Seino is incredibly charming," and "It was fun! I was moved" were posted.
Some of the opinions expressed included, "119 Emergency Call seems pretty interesting. I'll watch it again next week," and "This season's Monday 9pm dramas are also interesting."
