The Monday 9pm drama " 119 Emergency Call " (Fuji TV, Mondays 9pm) starring actress Nana Seino will begin airing on January 13th. Set in a fire department's communications command center, the original story follows dispatchers who save lives with a single phone call. This is Kiyohara's first lead role in a Monday 9pm drama. The first episode will be 30 minutes longer.
Kiyono plays Kasuhara Yuki, a command and control officer in the Yokohama City Fire Department's Command Division 3. She is a character who goes her own way within the organization and has the special skill of never forgetting a voice or sound she has heard once.
Seto Koji plays the role of former firefighter Koji Seto, command and control officer of the Command Section 3, Sato Koichi plays the role of Section 3 chief Dojima Shinichi, and Nakamura Yuri plays Section 3 chief Takachiho Kazuha. Yuki's colleague Niijima Sara is played by Mikami Ai, Yogo Shinnosuke is played by Ichinose Hayate, and Minowa Kensuke is played by Maehara Akira.
The first episode begins with... "119, this is the fire department. Is it a fire or an emergency?" Kasuhara Yuki receives a call at the Yokohama City Fire Department's Command Division 3. Next to Yuki is Kaneshita Mutsuo, who works as a trainer. Kaneshita is strict when it comes to calls that are not emergencies, and Takachiho Kazuha, the section chief, gives a wry smile.
During the break, Yuki's colleagues Shinnosuke Yogo and Kensuke Minowa encourage her by telling her that Kaneshita's instruction is unkind but that it will end soon, so she should be patient. However, Yuki doesn't seem to mind. Sara Niijima doesn't join in the conversation.
Takachiho calls Kaneshita to his desk and warns him that he is not showing love in the way he teaches Yuki. Kaneshita replies that he refused the position from the beginning because he thought he was not suited to be a teacher, and complains that Yuki has come even though it is not time for him to be transferred.
Takachiho advised Yuki, who had quit his job at the bank to join the fire department to become a command and control officer, that he should take good care of her. Takachiho also told Yuki that she had an exceptional ability: she never forgot a voice or sound she had heard once.
That night, Yuki gazes at Dojima Shinichi with admiration as he appears at the command center. There is a reason for this. At that time, starting with a call from a male customer at an internet cafe that Yuki received, the controllers receive one call after another...
