Eiji Akaso:2025 challenge: "Bench press 100kg" at Louis Vuitton event

Actor Eiji Akaso appeared at the reception for the "LOUIS VUITTON x MURAKAMI" re-edition collection pop-up store, held in Tokyo on January 8th.

When asked what he would like to challenge himself to do this year, Akaso replied, "It may be a long-term thing, but I want to bench press 100kg." He said that last year he "stopped at 90kg," and expressed his ambition to "reach 100kg this year."

Also appearing at the event were Murakami Takashi, Suzu Hirose, Hirano Sho, Koki, Rola, Meru Nukumi, Takahashi Fumiya, Awich, Fujita Nicole, Maria Tani Maria, Triendl Reina, Momota Kanako, and Hoshi Moeka.

The pop-up store will feature a re-edition of the "LOUIS VUITTON × MURAKAMI" collection, which was released 20 years after Louis Vuitton first teamed up with contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. It opened on January 7th.

The location is a special space in Jingumae 6-chome, Shibuya-ku. Business hours are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. It will be open until 6:00 pm on January 15th, and closed on the 8th and 17th. Admission may be restricted during peak hours.
