Featured drama introduction:"The Me I Don't Know" Ono Karin's first lead role in a drama, starring a girl with amnesia, in an original story written by Obayashi Rieko

Actor Ono Karin's first solo lead role in the drama series "Watashi no Shiranai Watashi" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays 11:59pm) will begin on January 9th. The script is an original by Obayashi Rieko. Ono plays Haneda Mei, a planner at a photo wedding company who struggles to recover her memories of the past year in order to prove her innocence after being accused of murder.

Mei, who collapsed in the mountains and was taken to the hospital, wakes up to find that she has lost her memory for a year. In a complete turnaround from the ordinary life she had before she lost her memory, she finds herself with a doctor fiance, social status, and a one-of-a-kind female friend whom she thought was dead.

But gradually, her close friends and other people around her start to take away important things from her. She even ends up being suspected of murder.

Fumika Baba will play Mei's best friend Midori Shinohara, Koukai Hyodo will play Mei's colleague Ryunosuke Aizawa, and Teppei Koike will play Mei's fiance Kanata Nishijima.

Episode 1: Mei Haneda is found collapsed in the mountains and taken to the hospital, where she wakes up one month later to find that she has lost all memory of the past year. After a birthday party with her high school friend Rina Nakatani (Nagisa Shibuya), she goes to sleep at home, only to find her fiance, Kanata Nishijima, a doctor, standing before her. Furthermore, Mei is confused by her reunion with her best friend Midori Shinohara, whom she thought had died in high school, and the fact that she has changed jobs to a job she had always dreamed of.

Kyohei Satake (Kento Shibuya), a psychiatrist who counsels Mei, gives her advice on how to recover her memory. What did she do during the blank year? When she arrives at a road in the mountains in search of clues, her new coworker Ryunosuke Aizawa tells her, "You're a murderer."

Following Ryunosuke's instructions, Mei visits the apartment where she used to live and finds a blood-stained white shirt. What secret does her lost memories hide that she doesn't even know about?
