It has been announced that Reina Ueda will be appearing as the voice actor for Haruno Akiyama in the TV anime "mono," which is based on the manga by Afro, who is also known for " Laid-Back Camp ."
Ueda commented, "I myself had finished the audition without any sense of accomplishment, so when I heard that I'd been chosen I was really surprised. I was very happy. I was able to share my joy with the other cast members, but my heart clenched when I saw Mikawa Kazuki's eyes welling up with tears...I couldn't help but get teary-eyed too. I hope that we can make the dubbing set a place where everyone can have fun and smile."
"Mono" is a manga that depicts the daily lives of high school girls in the "Cinephoto Club," a combination of the photography club and the video studies club. It is currently being serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Carat" (Houbunsha).
The anime will be directed by Ryota Aike and produced by Soine. Kazuki Mikawa will play the role of Satsuki Amemiya, Aoi Koga will play the role of Anne Kiriyama, and Hikaru Tono will play the role of Sakurako Shikishima. It will be broadcast in 2025.
