It has been revealed that the eight-man male dance and vocal unit "ICEx" will be in charge of the opening theme "Utopia" for the Japanese dubbed version of the popular original anime "RINGING FATE" distributed on China's largest video site "bilibili." It was also announced that CENT, a solo project by Cent Chihiro Chicchi, will be in charge of the ending theme "Zinnia".
ICex member Riku Shiga commented, "As the opening song for the anime 'RINGING FATE,' in which friends engage in mecha battles to win their own destinies, it has a powerful, and even challenging sound for ICex. The atmosphere is completely different from ICex's previous songs, so please pay attention to that contrast!"
Cent Chihiro Chitti said, "I am very honored to have come across "RINGING FATE," CENT's first anime tie-up. I am so happy that my song is mixed into the world of my favorite anime. The cute and unique characters are so charming and exciting...!"
It was also announced that additional cast members will include Takeo Otsuka as Eden, Sho Kano as Tim, and Tsuguo Mogami as Okuma. A key visual featuring the main character, Kaname, and Helmet Saburo, who will team up with her, was also released.
"RINGING FATE" is set in the "sky" between life and death, where people are sent if they have regrets when they die in the real world. The story follows Kaname, a young girl who died of an incurable disease, and Saburo, the most dangerous helmet, as they team up to pilot mecha and fight their way through the "Ring of Destiny." In the Japanese dubbed version, Kana Kana Hanazawa plays the main character, Kaname, and Yuichiro Umehara plays Saburo, Kaname's partner. The series will be broadcast on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "B8station" from January 8, 2025.
