Former Japanese women's national volleyball team member Sarina Koga appeared at the "Yukin Coordination" runway presentation held in Tokyo on November 28th. Wearing a down coat and crew neck knit, Koga appeared on the runway as the first batter. "I found out today that I was going to be the first batter. I asked everyone if they wanted to decide by rock-paper-scissors, but I ended up being the first batter (laughs)," she said, revealing an episode behind the scenes.
When the host said, "I was mesmerized because I'm tall," she looked back on her first runway with a smile, saying, "I was nervous, but I rarely get to have this kind of experience, so I enjoyed it." When asked to be a model, she said, "It's not something I can experience, so I accepted right away. I'm very happy."
Judo player Natsumi Tsunoda, former Japanese rhythmic gymnastics team member Airi Hatakeyama, and former speed skater Nana Takagi also appeared at the presentation.
The fashion brand "23ku" has started selling the washable down "Sile Taffeta Down" with a beautiful silhouette, which is part of their standard series, and the soft and comfortable "Cashmere Knit Blend Knit" which comes in a wide variety of colors. The advertisement, which features Tsunoda, Koga, Hatakeyama, and Takagi as models, will be on display at the central passage ticket gate of JR East Shinjuku Station until December 1st.
