Synopsis of Episode 4 of "DOPE" released

The drama series " DOPE " (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring Kaito Takahashi of the popular group "King & Prince" and actor Tomoya Nakamura . The synopsis and stills from the 4th episode, which will air on July 25th, have been released.

Saiki (Takahashi) tails Jinnai (Nakamura) at the instruction of Tsubaki (Oshinari Shugo) of the First Investigative Division, but is quickly caught up in the encounter. Jinnai has a secret rendezvous with Jiu (Iura Arata) at a hotel, where Jiu tells him new facts about the case involving his wife Kaori (Iriyama Noriko).

Three university students die of drug overdose at a karaoke bar in the downtown area. It turns out that the three used low-quality stimulants. One of them was also carrying dope. Furthermore, they were students at the same university as Katsuragi's (Miura Masami) daughter, Riko (Hirazawa Hiromi). Katsuragi becomes worried.

When Saiki and Jinnai inquire at the university, suspicions emerge that Riko is manufacturing stimulants. DOPE is also found in Riko's belongings...

The story is based on the same-titled novel (Kadokawa Bunko) by Kizaki Chiaki, who made her debut as a novelist after winning the grand prize at the 20th Dengeki Novel Prize with "Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens." Set in a near-future Japan where a mysterious new drug called "DOPE" is rampant, Saiki Yuto (Takahashi), a rookie narcotics agent of the secret Narcotics Control Department's Special Investigation Division (Special Investigation Division), and his trainer Jinnai Teppei (Nakamura), attempt to solve a mysterious case.
