It has been revealed that the best album of "Macross F," a popular anime series, "Macross," "Macross F All-Time Best Album: Nyannyan Greatest Hits!" will be released on April 29, 2025, which is Ranka Lee's birthday. The all-time best album will include songs that have not been included in the album so far, such as "The Labyrinth of Time," "Sacrifice," and "Good job!", the theme songs of the short film "Macross F: The Labyrinth of Time."
The album will be released in three formats: a limited edition DeCulture special edition, a limited edition, and a regular edition. The limited edition DeCulture special edition will come in a memorial box with a CD, drama and cover song CD, Blu-ray, and acrylic stand. The limited edition will come in a deluxe case with a drama CD in addition to the CD.
The limited edition bonus CD will include the drama and cover song project "DeCulture Singing Contest," in which Sheryl and Ranka sing each other's songs. The limited edition Deculture special edition will come with the drama and cover song CD included in the limited edition, as well as a Blu-ray disc containing "Musume Musume Chronicle," a compilation of digest footage of past live performances, and an acrylic stand.
The first production run (for all three versions) will come with a serial code for advance ticket application for "SANKYO presents Macross F Galaxy Live☆Final 2025," the largest solo live show in the history of "Macross F" to be held on July 26th and 27th, 2025.
The jacket illustration for the limited edition that has been released is a new drawing by Risa Ebata, the character designer for "Macross F," and the jacket for the regular edition will also be drawn by Ebata.
A three-disc record containing carefully selected songs from the all-time best album will also be released. The first production run will be colored vinyl. A "Special Niangniang Extra Large Set" will also be sold exclusively through "Super Dimension Fan Club Macross Soul" and "VICTOR ONLINE STORE," which includes the limited edition Deculture special edition, a vinyl record, and a tapestry with the cover image.
An early reservation campaign has also started where if you preorder "Niangniang Greatest Hits!" at participating stores you will receive the drama CD "Triangle Birthday" as a gift.
