The visuals for the second part of the third season of the TV anime "Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World (Re:ZERO)", based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), "Counterattack", have been released. The visuals depict Natsuki Subaru, Emilia, and others facing off against the Witch Cult, with the tagline "Believe and fight". The third season is made up of the "Attack" (8 episodes in total) and the "Counterattack" (8 episodes in total), and the 58th episode, the final episode of the "Attack" was broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations on November 20th, at which point the visuals for the "Counterattack" were released. The "Counterattack" will be broadcast from February 5th, 2025. It was also announced that the "Attack" will be rebroadcast every Wednesday from November 27th.
The 100th episode of the web radio show "Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World Radio", which began broadcasting during the first season, will be streamed on YouTube on November 27th. Takahashi Rie will serve as the host, and Kobayashi Yusuke, Arai Satomi, and Murakawa Rie will appear as guests.
"Re:Zero" is based on a light novel written by Nagatsuki Tappei and illustrated by Otsuka Shinichiro. The story is about high school student Subaru being summoned to another world, where he gains the ability to rewind time when he dies. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016, the first half of the second season from July to September 2020, and the second half from January to March 2021. The first part of the third season, "The Assault Arc," began airing in October, with the final episode airing on November 20th.
