It has been announced that MAPPA, known for works such as "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "Chainsaw Man," will be broadcasting its original TV anime "Zenshu." from January 2025. It will be directed by Mitsue Yamazaki, known for works such as "Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun," and written by Kimiko Ueno, known for works such as "Little Witch Academia." The second teaser PV has also been released.
The title "Zenshu." is an anime term meaning "to correct everything/all retake." The protagonist is Natsuko Hirose, who became an animator after graduating from high school, blossomed into a talent, and quickly made her directorial debut. Natsuko's first directorial work was a huge hit that became a social phenomenon, and her next work has been decided to be a theatrical romantic comedy about first love, but Natsuko, who has never fallen in love with anyone, is unable to draw storyboards and is stuck. Anna Nagase will play Natsuko.
