It is currently being broadcast on Fuji TV every Friday at 11:40 p.m.

"Dragon Ball" is a popular series that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1984 to 1995. The TV anime series was broadcast from February 1986 to April 1989, "Dragon Ball Z" from April 1989 to January 1996, and "Dragon Ball GT" from February 1996 to November 1997. "Dragon Ball Super", a completely new original story created by Toriyama, was broadcast from July 2015 to March 2018.

◇Comment from Nakahara Mai, who plays Bulma (mini)

I never dreamed that I would be able to participate in a work that I have been watching since I was a child in this way, so I was really happy when it was decided. I didn't really feel it until we started recording, but during the recording, I felt the strong feelings of the staff towards the work, and my feelings became stronger. I'm honored to be able to participate!

◇Comment from Yudai Mino, who plays Vegeta (mini)

The weight and joy of being able to participate as a voice actor in this wonderful work, Dragon Ball, which I've been watching for a long time, gradually grew inside me, and I decided to do my best to act! ◇Comment from Tomohiro Yamaguchi, who plays Piccolo (mini)

I was happy just to be asked to audition, but I was really happy to be cast as Piccolo (mini). I approached the recording with the utmost respect for the work and characters that have been loved by so many people, including Toriyama-sensei. I'm very honored to be involved in the work again.

◇Comment from Aki Kaneda, voice of Krillin (mini)

When I heard that I had been chosen, I let out a strange, loud "Whaaaaaaat!!!" with a mixture of happiness, surprise, and worry about whether I was the right person for the role. I listened carefully to Krillin's voice as a child, and it was so cute, kind, cunning, and wonderful that I couldn't imitate it. I'm grateful for this precious opportunity.

◇Comment from Ai Kakuma, voice of Chi-Chi (mini)

It was sooooo good! I was so happy!! I was honored and filled with happiness to have been able to audition, but I never thought that the day would come when I would be able to speak lines in the anime as Chi-Chi (mini). My father read all the original manga volumes and I enjoyed watching the anime with my younger brothers, so it was a familiar work from my childhood, so I can show my parents my gratitude! I was looking forward to the broadcast, thinking that my younger brothers would be surprised but also happy.

◇Comment from Kanemitsu Nobuaki, who plays Kame-Sennin (mini)

When I was informed that I had been chosen to play Kame-Sennin (mini), I was excited because I thought, "I'll be appearing in Dragon Ball, which I've loved since I was a child! And as Kame-Sennin (mini)!" The world of Dragon Ball DAIMA has just begun. As the master of the universe's strongest warrior, I will continue to support Goku and his friends' adventures!

◇Comment from Goto Erina, who plays Dende (mini)

I remember staring at the words "Dende (mini)" in the script and saying out loud, "What?!" in the office. I was surprised and happy, but also full of doubts and worries, wondering if it was really me..., but I was really happy. I will enjoy "Dragon Ball DAIMA" with everyone!!

◇Comment from Saito Kimiko, voice of Mr. Popo (mini)

I'm going to be able to appear in Dragon Ball, which I've loved since I was a child! How lucky I am. I want to tell the me who played "Makafushigi Adventure!" on the trumpet at the sports day in elementary school (tears). When I heard the results of the audition, I was so excited that I surprised myself by letting out a high-pitched voice that I don't usually sing. That's how happy I was.

I never dreamed that I would be involved in the world of Dragon Ball that I watched as a child, so I was very happy. When I was first chosen to play Mr. Satan (mini), I couldn't even savor the joy, and it didn't really sink in at all (lol). I played the role while keeping in mind the image of Mr. Satan that I watched as a child! Please continue to enjoy Dragon Ball DAIMA!

◇Comment from Amuro Shiho, who plays Majin Buu (mini)

When I was little, I used to play the Dragon Ball game, but I was too weak and often sulked. Who would have thought that I would be able to play the strongest Majin Buu (mini)...? I can't believe I was able to be involved in this work, and I feel so grateful. I think you will see the charm of the characters in a different way than before! This is a work that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, so let's go on a great adventure with Goku and the others!
