It has been announced that the new TV anime "Aquarion: Myth of Emotions", the fourth season of the popular anime "Aquarion" series, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, TV Aichi, tvk, BS Asahi and others from January 2025. It has also been revealed that the setting of the new work will be Enoshima Island in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The first key visual has been released, depicting three Vector Machines taking off against the backdrop of Enoshima.
The main staff has also been announced, with Ito Masashi, who directed "Macross Delta Absolute LIVE!!!!!!" and was the ending director for "Fire Force Season 2", serving as the director of the new work. Murai Sadayuki, who worked on "Natsume's Book of Friends" and "Knights of Sidonia", will be in charge of the series composition, Kudo Masashi, who worked on the "BLEACH" series, will be in charge of character design, Omame Takashi of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury" and Kanematsu Shuu of "Kingdom of Hametsu" will be in charge of the music. Shoji Kawamori, who has worked on the series, will be involved as the original author, supervisor, and Aquarion designer. Satelight will produce the film.
Director Itoso commented, "What if people were born with a part of their 'emotions' missing? What if those missing emotions could be filled by 'combining'? What if that were connected to a 'myth' that would change the fate of the world? This film is set on Enoshima, a place that enshrines the 'three gods,' where 'three Vector Machines' fly about and combine into 'three types of Aquarion'! We will weave a new 'Aquarion' that connects 12,000 years of time, so that it will resonate with the 'emotions' of many people. Please check it out!"

The new TV anime will be the fourth season, following "Genesis of Aquarion" which aired in 2005, "Aquarion EVOL" which aired in 2012, and "Aquarion Logos" which aired in 2015.
