The third episode of the TV anime "Dandadan," based on the popular manga by Tatsuyuki Shinobu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," entitled "An Old Lady Clashes," will air on October 17th on the MBS/TBS late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO." In the third episode, Momo's grandmother, Hoshiko, will make her full appearance. Voice actress Nana Mizuki will play Hoshiko.
Okarun is transformed by the curse of Turbo Granny. He is unable to control his powers and goes out of control, but Momo's grandmother, Hoshiko, a medium, saves him just in time. In order to break the curse, Momo and Okarun end up playing tag with Turbo Granny. Before the showdown, Hoshiko orders the two to train hard, but in the middle of it, Turbo Granny appears in front of Momo.
"Dandadan" began serialization on "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. The story follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they confront the mysterious happenings that appear one after another.
