A memorial book for the late manga artist Ashihara Hinako, "Ashihara Hinako 30 Years of Artistic Career Memorial Book," will be included as a special supplement with the November issue of "Ane-kei Petit Comic (Ane Petit)" (Shogakukan), on sale from October 4th. The 192-page special issue features illustrations and messages from 69 artists of Shogakukan's manga magazines "Petit Comic," "Flowers," and "BetsuComi," as well as a chronicle looking back on Ashihara's 30 years as an artist.

In addition to "Sexy Tanaka-san," "Hourglass," and "Piece," the book also features previews and explanations of five of her works, including the one-shot "Begging Woman" published in "Big Comic Original" (same publisher) and "Sugoroku," which first appeared in "Petit Comic," as well as introductions and explanations of all of her comics.

Ashihara made her debut in 1994 with "Sono Hanashi Okowarishimasu," published in "Bessatsu Shojo Comic" (same publisher). She won the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2005 for "Hourglass" and in 2013 for "Piece." The latest volume 8 of "Sexy Tanaka-san" will be released on October 10th.
