It has been announced that the third season of the anime series "Bananya Around the World" featuring the popular character Bananya will be released on d Anime Store and other platforms from October 21st. It was also announced that voice actor Ishida Akira will be narrating the third season.
Ishida commented, "I'm happy to be narrating 'Bananya Around the World.' Kaji (Yuki) and Murase (Ayumu) have worked tirelessly to develop the world of the series by playing many characters, so I tried to write a narration that would not interfere with the story. I hope you will enjoy 'Around the World' as much as before."
The third season will see a grand adventure that will take the viewers to all kinds of cities around the world, including a tropical island, a western setting, and modern buildings. A cat in a hero suit will also be playing an important role. The main visual and main PV featuring Bananya, Baby Sweet, and a giant Manul have also been released. It was also announced that the vocal unit "BPM15Q" will perform the theme song "Across Universe." Following on from the previous series, Kaji and Murase will play the variously-distinguished Bananyas. The series will be produced by TMS Entertainment and L'ESPRIT.
Bananya is an anime featuring a mysterious cat-like, banana-like creature called Bananya and his friends. The first season aired on TV Saitama and Sun TV from July to September 2016, and the second season aired on TV Tokyo from October to December 2019.
