The TV anime "Ao no Hako", based on the popular manga by Koji Miura, will be broadcast on 28 TBS affiliates every Thursday at 11:56 pm from October 3rd. The popular work currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) will be made into a TV anime. It will be broadcast for two consecutive seasons.

Set in Sakae Mei High School, a powerhouse of sports from junior high to high school, the story follows Inomata Taiki, a member of the boys' badminton club, as he falls in love with Shikano Chinatsu, a senior in the girls' basketball club... This is a youthful club love story. The life-sized characters are dedicated to their club activities with their own feelings in mind, and the delicate emotions of "when you fall in love with someone" are delicately depicted. In the first episode, "Chinatsu Senpai", Taiki is excited to talk to Chinatsu for the first time, but Chinatsu has a certain situation...

The original work began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in April 2021. The anime will star Shoya Chiba as Daiki Inomata, Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Shikano, Akari Kito, Chiaki Kobayashi, Yuuma Uchida, and others. It will be produced by Telecom Animation Film.
