The cast of the Swiss representative team that will appear in "New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL," the sequel to the TV anime "New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP," based on Konomi Takeshi's popular tennis manga "New Prince of Tennis," has been announced, with Shibata Aiban playing Peter Lambiel and Ishibashi Aya playing Henri Nobel III.

Shibata commented, "It's a great honor to be able to be involved as an actor in a work that has been loved by so many people for so long. The U-17 WORLD CUP is finally in the second half! Be sure to watch the playful Peter and the Swiss team in action!"

Ishibashi said, "I was also a member of the soft tennis club when I was a student. The day before the recording, I remembered the feeling of holding the tennis racket I used at the time and hitting the ball, and then headed to the dubbing studio. I did my best to portray Henri, a "genius prince" who has an aura of elegance, but also has a strong competitive spirit and a boyish feel to him. I am very honored to be able to participate in such a historic work as The Prince of Tennis! Thank you very much!"

"The New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP" is the first TV series in about 10 years since "The New Prince of Tennis" aired in 2012, and depicts the qualifying league for the U-17 World Cup.
