On October 2nd, ten 4th generation members of idol group "Hinatazaka46" attended the completion report meeting for the movie "Zenbu of Tokyo" (released October 25th) held in Tokyo with director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri. Lead actress Yoko Shogenji revealed an incident that occurred during filming.
The movie is a youth ensemble drama in which the 4th generation members, in their first foray into acting, play idiosyncratic high school girls who visit Tokyo on a school trip. Filming took place in various locations within Tokyo, and Shogenji shared an episode from the first shoot in Asakusa.
"I had almost no lines (in the Asakusa scenes), and I had fun being a student on a school trip, but as soon as I started acting, someone from overseas asked me in English if I could take their picture (laughs)," she said, revealing that she was mistaken for a real student on a school trip.
Director Kumakiri did not call cut, and instead improvised by saying, "Let's keep going like this! I just said, 'OK! OK!' (laughs)," and added with a smile, "Photos may be up (on some social media site)." "It's become an irreplaceable film for us. I hope you enjoy watching the high school girls grow up." Director Kumakiri said, "I've had new actors debut in my films a few times before, but this is the first time that all 11 of us have made their film debut together. It was an honor to have this opportunity, and I was able to film it with a fresh feeling. I hope fans will watch it about 30 times. I also hope that movie lovers will watch it without any prejudice as an idol film." Also in attendance at the completion report meeting were Watanabe Rina, Fujishima Kaho, Ishizuka Yuki, Konishi Kanami, Takeuchi Kirari, Hirao Honoka, Shimizu Rio, Miyaji Sumire, and Yamashita Haruka. Hiraoka Kurage, who was scheduled to speak, was absent due to poor health.
