Actress Yuna Kuroshima appeared at a press conference held in Tokyo on April Getsuku for the TV Asahi Thursday drama "Unsolved Cases: Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator Season 3" (Thursdays at 9 PM, starting April 16th). Co-star Kenichi Endo praised her, saying, "It's amazing how you manage to balance acting, raising children, and taking care of pets."
In July 2024, Ms. Kuroshima announced the birth of her first child. Ms. Endo asked, "You sometimes bring your child to the set, and he's not shy at all; everyone takes to him/her... I even saw you bring your dog once. How do you manage all of that?" Ms. Kuroshima smiled shyly and replied, "I rely on the help of many people... I couldn't do it without the help of my family, my manager, and the support of those around me. I'm not doing it all by myself, so my child is allowed to visit the set sometimes. I'm so grateful."
When Endo said, "That's amazing, thank you for all your hard work," Kuroshima smiled happily and replied, "I'm exhausted every day."
"Unsolved Cases: Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator" is a mystery series in which detectives investigate unsolved cases using written documents as clues. It started in April 2018, and this is the third season, approximately six years later. Amid a crisis threatening the survival of the 6th Section (Document Deciphering Section) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division's "Special Investigation Task Force," brilliant detective Narumi Risa (Kyoka Suzuki) and her younger superior, the new section chief Mutsu Hinako (Kuroshima), team up as partners to tackle difficult cases.
The press conference was attended by the lead actor, Suzuki, as well as Ryubi Miyase, Sawamura Kazuki, original author Asami Kazushi, and screenwriter Omori Mika.
