It has been revealed that Ruruka Moria will transform into Cure Arcana Shadow in episode 11, "Cure Arcana Shadow Appears," of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series. Ruruka Moria is a mysterious girl who for some reason operates as part of the phantom thief group Phantom, and she transforms into Cure Arcana Shadow with the words, "Cure Arcana Shadow, who envelops you in mystery and secrets!" The "Cure Arcana Shadow Grand Plan" will begin on April 11th in preparation for episode 11, which will air on April 12th.
From April 11th to May 10th, in over 1000 stores nationwide, including toy retailers and the official "Pretty Cure" series store "Pretty Cure Pretty Store," in-store announcements by Cure Arcana Shadow and the fairy Mashutan will be broadcast. The two will brilliantly "steal" the broadcast and talk about the "Detective Pretty Cure!" merchandise available in the stores.
In episode 11, airing on April 12th, and episode 12, airing on April 19th, Cure Arcana Shadow will be in charge of the sponsor announcements that play before and after the commercials. Starting April 25th, "Detective Precure! Character Voice Cards" will be given away to people who purchase eligible toys at toy stores nationwide.

The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga will appear as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Aruru Mori. It has also been announced that Cure Eclair, a mysterious Pretty Cure whose true identity is unknown, will appear. The show airs every Sunday at 8:30 AM on ABC TV and TV Asahi.
