It has been announced that a total of 27 impressive voice actors will appear at MBS's anime event "MBS Anime Fest 2025," which will be held for the first time in about seven years. 12 voice actors will appear on the first day, January 18, 2025, and 15 voice actors will appear on the second day, January 19. It has been announced that the first day will feature "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "WIND BREAKER," while the second day will feature "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury" and "Tokyo Revengers."
An anime producer from MBS commented, "There aren't many opportunities for large-scale anime events in the Kansai region. The MBS Anime Fest is an event that we would like all Kansai fans, future voice actors, and aspiring creators to see. It has been 20 years since the first event. We were also anime fans 20 years ago. In order to enjoy a "dream competition" with a total of 27 voice actors, live performances by theme song artists, and works that represent the era, we have deliberately not released any information so that you can enjoy one surprise after another, but we will deliver surprises and charm that are just as impressive as the previous festivals. This is an event that will not be recorded. We hope that it will be deeply engraved in everyone's memories."
The "MBS Anime Fest 2025" will be held on January 18th and 19th, 2025 at Kobe World Memorial Hall (Chuo-ku, Kobe). This will be the first time the event will be held over two days in about seven years since 2018.
"MBS Anime Fest" is an anime event consisting of "famous anime scenes," "live dubbing," and "live theme songs" with the concept of "a one-of-a-kind anime event that can only be seen at this very moment, and will remain in your memory only!" It was born in 2005 as an outdoor festival in the Nishinomaru Garden of Osaka Castle. It was held for the first time in about 10 years in 2014, and has been held five times since then, in 2015, 2017, and 2018. As with previous years, the entire event will not be streamed or released on Blu-ray disc.
