The first part of the video "Maeda Kaori's Path to Becoming a Martial Artist", in which voice actress Maeda Kaori, who plays Narsena in the TV anime "The Healer Who Was Banished from the Party, But Is Actually the Strongest," based on the light novel by Kagetake, which is popular on the novel posting site "Let's Become a Novelist," has been released on YouTube, shows her trying kickboxing for the first time. Maeda, who plays Narsena, a highly skilled martial artist, overcomes challenges and tries to master Narsena-like kicks and punches... In the video, former professional kickboxer Nitta Akiomi gives Maeda passionate instruction, and a producer wearing a mysterious goblin mask also appears. The second part will be released at 6pm on October 5th.
The work is a light novel written by Kagetake and illustrated by Cacao Lantern. It depicts the healer Raust, who was banished from a top party because he could only use basic magic, Heal, and how he rises to success after gaining friends who recognize his own abilities. A light novel has been published by M Novels (Futabasha), and the comic adaptation has also become popular.
The anime will be directed by Keisuke Onishi and produced by Studio L. It will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "ANiMAZiNG!!!" from October 5th.
