A new promotional video for the fourth chapter of the Pokémon TV anime, "Rayquaza Rising," has been released on YouTube. The video shows the Rising Volteckers reuniting with Riko, Roy, and Dot, hinting at a new adventure. It also features the impressive appearance of the Six Heroes Pokémon, Basagiri and Black Rayquaza.
It was also announced that boy band ZEROBASEONE will be performing the opening theme song for the new chapter, "Only One Story." ZEROBASEONE commented, "Pokémon is one of my favorite anime that I've been watching since I was a child, and I've always wanted to perform the opening theme, so I was really happy! The chorus of "Only One Story" is very catchy, and I think it's a melody that you won't get out of your head once you hear it. In particular, at the end of the chorus, there is a memorable lyric, "I've cried so many times, but you're okay," so be sure to pay attention to it. It's a fun song that everyone can sing and dance to, so please enjoy it along with the anime!"
The new series of the Pokémon TV anime will begin airing in April 2023. Set in the entire Pokémon world, the series follows the adventures of the protagonists, a young girl named Riko and a young boy named Roy, as they embark on a spree with their Pokémon. It will air on TV Tokyo every Friday at 6:55 p.m. The new chapter will begin with the broadcast on October 11th.
