Aya Ueto, an actress, attended the "Kumon New CM Announcement" held in Tokyo on September 26th. Ueto, a mother of three, said about her eldest daughter, who is in the third grade of elementary school, "When she was born, she had a strong face and everyone said she looked like her dad, but recently people have started saying that her silhouette is starting to resemble her mom's."
When asked about the moment she felt her children were growing up, she said, "They've started to spend more time concentrating on their own," and, with a motherly face, she continued, "They can't suddenly sit in a chair for a long time, but when I see them trying hard, I think they're cute. My older sister (who goes to Kumon) has gotten into the habit of studying, and recently she's been studying so easily, she's really strong."
Ueto has been appointed as Kumon's new ambassador. The new commercial featuring Ueto will be aired nationwide from the 27th.
