Weekend movie attendance rankings announced

According to the movie attendance rankings for July 11th to 13th (surveyed by Kogyo Tsushinsha) announced on July 14th, "National Treasure" (directed by Lee Sang-il), a film adaptation of Yoshida Shuichi's novel starring actor Ryo Yoshizawa, topped the list for the fourth consecutive week. Over the three-day weekend, it attracted an audience of about 405,000 people and grossed about 602 million yen. In total, the film attracted 3.98 million people and grossed over 5.6 billion yen.

Among the first-time entries, "Superman" (directed by James Gunn), starring actor David Corenswet, ranked second. In the three days since its release on July 11, it attracted approximately 225,000 viewers and grossed approximately 371 million yen. "Paw Patrol Paw Party in Theater 2025," the third theatrical screening project for the popular animation "Paw Patrol," debuted in ninth place.

"Lilo & Stitch" (directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp), which maintained its third place from the previous week, attracted about 124,000 people over the three-day weekend and earned about 166 million yen. In total, it attracted 2.02 million people and earned over 2.8 billion yen. In fourth place was "F1" (directed by Joseph Kosinski), which dropped two places from the previous week, attracting about 112,000 people over the three-day weekend and earning about 198 million yen. In total, it attracted 780,000 people and earned over 1.3 billion yen. "Dollhouse" (directed by Shinobu Yaguchi) attracted about 109,000 people over the three-day weekend and earned about 139 million yen, placing it in fifth place. In total, it attracted 1.06 million people and earned over 1.4 billion yen.

Now in its ninth week of release, "Mission: Impossible - Final Reckoning" (directed by Christopher McQuarrie) has maintained its 7th place position from the previous week, with a total of 3.25 million viewers and box office revenue exceeding 5 billion yen. In its third week of release, the latest film in the popular anime "KING OF PRISM" series, "KING OF PRISM-Your Endless Call-Everyone Sparkle! Prism Tours," ranked 10th.
