It has been revealed that singer-songwriter syudou will be in charge of the ending theme "Workout" for the TV anime "Majirumie Co., Ltd.", which is based on a manga currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump + (Plus)." A commercial in which Sakuragi Kana and Koshigaya Hitomi fight monsters was also released on YouTube, and the song was unveiled.
Syudou commented, "Before I became a musician, I was an ordinary office worker. For me, this work had a lot of points that I could really relate to. There are times when just living your daily life makes you feel like you are going to break. Even at times like that, I created the song "Workout" thinking about Sakuragi Kana's way of life, who fights honestly against the reality in front of her, and the members of Magirumie. I sincerely hope that this work will be loved by many people. Once again, I am honored to be involved in such a wonderful work."
Details of the special program "ZIP! Special Edition: Majirumie Co., Ltd. Please Tell Me," a collaboration with Nippon Television's morning information program "ZIP!", were also announced. As a special edition of the popular corner "President! Please tell us", hosted by Suzuki Fuku, Thursday personality on "ZIP!", the editorial department of "Shonen Jump+" is interviewed. Hear about the secrets of work that are common to "Majirumie Co., Ltd." as a work-themed show. Interviews with Fairouz Ai, who plays Sakuragi Kana, and Mafumafu and syudou, who are in charge of the opening theme "Made to Order", will also be broadcast. The third installment of company introduction poster-style visuals designed with the company philosophy along with the magical girls and employees of each company that appear in "Majirumie Co., Ltd." has been released. The visuals are based on the image of Majirumie Co., Ltd., whose philosophy is "We are a company that protects the happiness and smiles of everyday life," "We will rush to your side in a second," and "The magic of feeling human warmth."
"Majirumie Co., Ltd." is an action manga about work and magical girls, written by Iwata Setsuka and illustrated by Aoki Yutaka. Set in a world where natural disasters known as "kaii" exist and magical girls who exterminate them are recognized as a coveted profession, the story follows the protagonist Sakuragi Kana, who joins the venture company Magirumiere Co., Ltd. as a new graduate and struggles as a working adult and magical girl. It has become a hot topic, ranking third in the web manga category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022".
The anime will be directed by Hiraoka Masahiro and produced by Moe and J.C.STAFF. Fairouz will play Sakuragi Kana, a new magical girl at Magirumiere Co., Ltd., and Hanamori Yumiri will play Koshigaya Hitomi, a senior magical girl who has a rough personality but is very caring and teaches Kana how to prepare herself as a magical girl. It will be broadcast every Friday at 11pm from October 4th on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)".
