It has been announced that a new project called "Pure Acre Touken Danshi" based on the popular game "Touken Ranbu Online" will be launched. The project will be the first virtual music live performance in the "Touken Ranbu" series with 3D Touken Danshi, and will feature a 3D live performance in which the Touken Danshi will perform in the guise of idols. A teaser PV depicting the Touken Danshi transforming into their idol guise has been released on YouTube.
In the 3D live performance, the Touken Danshi will perform a cool performance as they face the stage as idols with all their heart. "Pure Acre" refers to the chemical reaction between pure and cool, and it is said that the audience will be able to see "Pure Acre" Touken Danshi.
The first large-scale 3D live performance is scheduled for March 2025, and prior to the large-scale performance, "tasting performances" will be held in Tokyo and Osaka. The performance, which aims to provide a "tasting" of the appeal of the new project, will feature six swords: Kotegirie, Buzene, Kuwanae, Matsuie, Samidare and Murakumo Enoe. The Tokyo tasting performance will run from October 22nd to November 4th at Shinagawa Stella Ball, while the Osaka performance will run from December 18th to 29th at Cool Japan Park WW Hall.
"Touken Ranbu ONLINE" is a sword training simulation game in which players train and lead "Touken Danshi", famous swords transformed into warriors, in battle to protect history. It has been adapted into a variety of media mixes, including musicals, stage plays, anime, manga, kabuki and consumer games.
