On September 18th, Nippon Television held a briefing on its October schedule changes at its Shiodome, Tokyo location. The briefing mentioned that "Nino-san," a variety show hosted by Ninomiya Kazunari that is currently airing on Sundays at 10:25am, will be moving to prime time starting in October.

"Nino-san" began airing in the late-night slot (Thursdays at 12:59am-1:59am) in April 2013 as Ninomiya's first regular show. Six months later, in October 2013, the time slot moved to Sunday afternoons (12:45pm-1:15pm). Then, in April 2020, the broadcast time was expanded to one hour, and the slot changed to Sunday mornings (10:25am-11:25am). Now in its 12th year on the air, the show will move to the prime time slot of 7pm on Fridays starting in October.

Kuniya Mari, producer of the show, commented, "This year marks the 12th year since the show began as Ninomiya's first titular show just before he turned 30. We've fought and walked together. We're surprised that it's being aired in primetime at this time."

"What we value most of all is creating a time for viewers to feel at ease and smile. Both Ninomiya and Kikuchi Fuma have said that they want to make it a fun show without changing the excitement. We get nervous every time we move, but we hope that it will quickly become a new Friday night tradition, and that 'Nino-san' will continue to evolve even further in its 12th year, so we'll continue to have fun delivering the show."
