Spice and Wolf：Episode 23: A Contrived Disaster and a Fitting Retribution: The flour is poisoned! Lawrence is the culprit!?

The 23rd episode of the all-new TV anime "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf," based on the popular light novel "Spice and Wolf" by Hasekura Isuna, published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), entitled "Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf," entitled "A Contrived Disaster and a Deserved Retribution," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other channels from late night on September 9th.

Enberg has demanded a refund, claiming that the flour in Teleo Village had been poisoned. It seems to be a self-inflicted plot by Enberg, who wants to break an unfavorable contract with the village, but Lawrence is about to be identified as the culprit in order to protect the village. So Lawrence, along with Elsa and Evan, who are also in a difficult position, decide to escape with Holo's help.

"Spice and Wolf" is a light novel that depicts the travels of a traveling merchant, Kraft Lawrence, and Holo, an incarnation of a wolf who is worshipped as the goddess of fertility. The first season of the TV anime aired in 2008, and the second season in 2009.
