The first and last fan meeting for the popular medical drama series "Doctor-X: Surgeon Daimon Michiko" (TV Asahi), starring Yonekura Ryoko, was held over two days, August 27th and 28th, with a total of three performances at EX THEATER ROPPONGI (Minato Ward, Tokyo). The event was held to commemorate the first movie in the series, which will be released on December 6th this year, and featured a star-studded cast including Yonekura, Tanaka Kei, Uchida Yuki, Katsumura Masanobu, Suzuki Kosuke, Koyabu Chito, Endo Kenichi, and Kishibe Ittoku.

The first performance, hosted by Murakami Takeshi of the comedy duo "Fruit Punch," who is a fan of "Doctor-X" and made a brief appearance in the second series, attracted about 900 fans from Japan and abroad, and live viewing was also held at movie theaters across the country.

To entertain these fans, the cast decided to perform their first-ever "stage show Doctor-X." In an attempt to recreate the famous scene of Daimon Michiko's (Yonekura) first appearance and contract signing on stage, Nishida Toshiyuki, who plays Michiko's nemesis Hiruma Shigekatsu, also appeared via remote video, and the venue was filled with excitement.

However, midway through, an unexpected incident occurred. Yonekura made a NG by mistaking Michiko's catchphrase, "I will not do any work that can be done without a medical license," for "work that does not require a medical license," and panicked at the unexpected mistake. "Sorry! I thought it would be okay because everyone was there, but I was shocked at all the mistakes I made (laughs)," she apologized profusely, and Uchida, who has co-starred with her for many years, was also surprised, saying, "That's so rare!"

Yonekura, Endo, Suzuki, and Kishibe each chose and announced their favorite and least favorite scenes from the past series, and Yonekura was in tears at the favorite scene she had chosen. It was a scene in which the sick Michiko was touched by the immense love of her master Akira (Kishibe), and when Yonekura commented that it was "an unforgettable scene," Kishibe echoed the sentiment. When Uchida revealed that "you said that the two of you went out to eat after this scene," fans seemed moved by the "unique bond."

All three performances ended with great success, and Yonekura smiled and said, "It was fun!" Each performance will also be shown on delayed viewing at cinemas nationwide on August 31st and September 1st.
