Directed by Narumi Ikeda and Toru Yoshida, the series boasts a stellar staff including chief animation director Moriyasu Taniguchi, series composition by Ryosuke Takahashi, script by Yuya Takashima, mechanical design by Kunio Okawara, and art direction by Minoru Nishida.

At the end of the fifth chapter, "The Heated Galactic War," the Space Battleship Yamato crossed the spacetime node and arrived not in the future, but in Tokyo in 2026. The sixth chapter depicted scenes of the Yamato flying over Tokyo, passing by the life-sized Unicorn Gundam statue, Tokyo Skytree, and the statue of Saigo Takamori in Ueno.

On the 4th, it was announced that Gen Urobuchi and Ken Maejima will be in charge of the script for "Ghost of Tsushima: Legends," an anime based on the online multiplayer mode "Legends" of the popular game "Ghost of Tsushima." It was also announced that Takashi Okazaki will be in charge of character design, and visuals of the assassin, archer, and ronin were released.
On the 4th, it was announced that the TV anime "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All," based on the popular manga by Sumiko Arai, will begin airing in January 2027. It was also announced that the opening theme will be "Breed," a famous song by the American band Nirvana, and a teaser PV featuring the song's intro has been released on YouTube. This marks the first time the song has been officially used in a Japanese video production. A video of an interview with Nirvana's drummer, Dave Grohl, has also been released on YouTube, with the original author, Arai, acting as the interviewer.
