Actor Shun Oguri appeared at the Japan premiere of the film "Frontline" (directed by Mitsutoshi Sekine, scheduled for release on June 13th) held in Tokyo on May 29th, along with his co-stars Tori Matsuzaka, Sosuke Ikematsu, Yosuke Kubozuka, Nana Mori, and Yuki Sakurai.
"Frontline" is the first Japanese film to be based on an original script and a fact-based story about the COVID-19 pandemic that humanity has experienced on a global scale. The film is set on the luxury cruise ship "Diamond Princess," which arrived at Yokohama Port on February 3, 2020 and was the first to experience a mass infection of COVID-19 in Japan, and depicts the events that took place from that day until February 21, when all passengers had disembarked.
