The 2005 coming-of-age film "Linda Linda Linda" (directed by Yamashita Nobuhiro), starring Bae Doona, Maeda Aki, Kashii Yuu, and Sekine Shiori of "Base Ball Bear," will be released in 4K digitally remastered form "Linda Linda Linda 4K" on August 22nd, and the trailer for the film has been released.
The trailer starts with a verse of the Blue Hearts' famous song "Boku no Migi Te" sung by Song, played by Bae Doona, and a passionate comment from Moka Kamishiraishi, a big fan of the film. Megumi (Kashii), the vocalist of a band that broke up just before the school festival, forcibly draws Song into the band by saying, "Why don't you join a band? Because we're the Blue Hearts." There are only three days left until the school festival. The trailer depicts scenes of the school festival that everyone feels nostalgic about, as well as the irreplaceable three days of the four of them, including Song in the classroom, Kyoko (Maeda) practicing the drums, Megumi chatting with a senior on the rooftop, and Nozomi (Sekine) with a melancholy look on her face at the pool. In the middle of the trailer, there is a scene where a boy played by Matsuyama Kenichi confesses his feelings to Song, and at the end, the four are seen performing the Blue Hearts' "Linda Linda" at the school festival.
